If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team or technical sales representatives for more information.

A laser-cut SMT stencil (also known as a PCB stencil or solder paste stencil) is a precision metal sheet used to apply solder paste onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). It ensures accurate and consistent paste deposition for reliable SMT assembly.

What files are required to manufacture a stencil?

We require Gerber files (RS-274X) for solder paste layers. For improved accuracy, you may also include:

  • Silkscreen layers
  • Solder mask layers
  • Drill files
  • Assembly drawings

We follow IPC-7525 stencil design standards, focusing on:

  • Aspect Ratio (Width/Thickness)
  • Area Ratio

These guidelines ensure optimal solder paste release and print consistency.

Yes. We specialize in high-precision SMT stencils suitable for fine-pitch, micro BGA, and advanced component packages.

We offer a variety of materials, including:

  • Stainless steel (SUS304H)
  • Fine grain steel (SUS301L)
  • Nickel materials
  • DPS (SUS431)

Material selection depends on your application and durability requirements.

Yes. We provide nano-coating options to improve solder paste release, reduce bridging, and enhance cleaning performance as below:-

a) Wipe on Nano Coating (Temporary)

b) NanoSlic Coating (Permanent)

  • Standard SMT stencils: 36–48 hours
  • NanoSlic stencils: +1 additional day

Expedited services are available for urgent orders, with additional charges applied.

Yes. Our CAD Engineering team would be able to recommend stencil thickness based on your PCB design, component types, and solder paste requirements to ensure optimal printing results.
